Inspiration:
This painting was inspired by the quiet drama of natural transitions - moments where solid and fluid states coexist, like melting ice, tidal pools, or weathered stone by the sea. I wanted to express a sense of suspended motion, where time feels slowed and the surface holds the memory of movement. The layered acrylic technique allowed me to build depth and tactile complexity, echoing the way nature records change through erosion, pressure, and flow.
